About
Welcome to Shawarma Haus, a vibrant gem nestled at Pilgrimstein 25 in the charming city of Marburg, Germany. With a reputation for serving up delicious and reasonably priced shawarma, this eatery has quickly become a local favorite among food lovers.
One of the highlights of Shawarma Haus is its impressive value. Diners can indulge in a generous shawarma for just €3.50. Many patrons rave about the taste and portion size, which makes it a satisfying option for those on the go. As a food reviewer, I can attest that the art of shawarma lies in its seasoning, and this establishment has perfected that skill. Customers like Nisa-Nur Danismaz have expressed their delight, giving Shawarma Haus a resounding five stars, emphasizing that everything from flavor to service was immaculate.
The friendly staff at Shawarma Haus enhances the experience further. Customer feedback highlights the welcoming atmosphere fostered by the owner, who is described as both personable and attentive. Hamad Kutiech noted the excellent quality of food and service, resulting in recommendations aplenty. The inviting environment encourages visitors to return time and again for that authentic taste of Lebanese fast food.
While the food is undeniably tasty, it's important to address all feedback. A review from Ivy raised concerns about hygiene practices in the kitchen. Although such observations might be common in street food contexts, it's a reminder that maintaining good hygiene is essential in any food establishment.
Additionally, the selection at Shawarma Haus is vibrant and diverse. Although the space may be small—ideal for quick takeout—it’s the freshness of the ingredients that sets it apart. Customers have appreciated the variety of dishes and sandwiches, bringing them closer to the authentic street food experience found in Lebanon.
In conclusion, Shawarma Haus captivates with its flavor, value, and friendly service. If you find yourself in Marburg, make sure you stop by this delightful spot to enjoy a piece of authentic Lebanese street food. Just remember, it's a food adventure that's best enjoyed on the move!
“ Great food, great staff, reasonable prices, definitely recommended!! ”
“ I loved the taste I loved the stuff Everything was perfect I couldn’t find something bad about the whole experience which is why I have to give 5 stars ”
“ Great food! Really kind people working there. After ordering food, they even gave us baklava for free. Totally worth trying. ”
“ The staff are really nice and friendly. Shawarma is quite large and really good for the price (3.5 euro). However I am not sure if it is hygiene. The guy uses bare hands to prepare food and he also takes money and do all the things with his bare hands. I don't want to eat there again because of this. I assume you won't get sick (hopefully) but I don't like it. Not a big fault for a cheap street food shop, but I just cannot accept this. Sorry! ”
“ Classic Shawarma, perfectly seasoned and at a reasonable price. The besitzer is very frendly and open so don’t hesitate for a tipp. Thumbs up totally ”
“ I always go there for takeout since the place is really small to sit and eat inside. The ingredients are fresh and the offered choice of sandwiches and dishes offered and quite big and gets really close in taste to authentic lebanese fast food. ”
